W Day!!! Car WASH, WIND, WARM temps and WORMS (yes, worms! Corbin brought gummy worms to share for W Day)! The kids loved it! Since it is SO muddy right now as everything thaws, we got busy with our work and then left the farm! We took the car in for a wash-which the kids LOVE doing! Then we went to Theisens to see the baby chicks! Lucky us, they were just getting a shipment in, so the employee (bless his heart), took the time to explain to the kids everything he was doing! He should definitely get paid more-he was quite the teacher today!❤️ After the chicks, it was time to head to the park-rubber flooring made it fabulous!!! No mud!!😄 We did have a hard time standing with the wind, but we didn't want to pass up on the warm temps! Unfortunately, we are home now and because of the VERY strong winds, we won't be going out again! Too many trees and too muddy to really enjoy! We are finishing up lunch, then we'll watch a movie this afternoon. Enjoy your weekend!

Show and Tell W tomorrow. We'be been on the go all morning! After a short free play time, we bundled up and headed to the library. They played at the library before we headed back for story time. Once again, we heard stories about teeth! Between here, preschool, library and dentist appointments this week-the kids are learning a lot! One of the books was about a dinosaur, so Ms. Madeline let us make our own dinosaurs with huge, pointy teeth! We are finishing up lunch and then we will be out the door again to go to preschool. Have a great afternoon! Lots of sunshine tomorrow!!
Weekly payments due tomorrow.Sunny days ahead!!!!☀️ We started our day with our faith lesson. We learned how important it is to listen and obey God. We talked about how Moses' followers didn't listen and obey and then their manna spoiled. We also learned that when they did listen and obey, their manna was fine. To remind us of this, we made Wormy Manna as a project! Drew pointed out that the worm started with our letter this week-W! Wow!!! We are little sponges and soaking it all in right now!!😄 The kids really like their wormy manna baskets! After our project-it was outside we went! It's so nice to be able to be outside for longer periods of time. Of course, our clothes are really wet from it! I checked everyone's back up clothes for spares and let you a note if anything needs to be brought in. Please bring these in ASAP-with warmer temps comes puddles and mud and kids are just automatically drawn to both!😉. Enjoy the warmer weather!!
It's a quiet week! Weekly payments due Thursday. Show and Tell W on Friday. We're talking about being healthy and taking care of our teeth! We read two books today. Our first one was about healthy habits and our second one was about our teeth! It's perfect timing, as two friends are visiting the dentist this week! We focused on brushing our teeth twice a day! We counted teeth, too! 😁
Daycare is closed on Monday. Happy Valentine's Day! We are having a pretty good day filled with love and friendships! 💗 We had a pink start to our day with strawberry yogurt and strawberry cereal bars! Of course, whenever you serve a meal on pretty red and pink plates, it makes it that more exciting!❤️💗❤️
We passed out our Valentine's and the kids can't wait to take them all home in their new tote bags! Ashton still needs to pass out his after school, so we won't be sneaking into them until after the big kids get here. We talked about love a lot today! I shared their thoughts on FB, if you want to check it out. It was really sweet to hear each of their thoughts on the subject!💗 We made homemade heart shaped granola bars for our project today and we can't wait to try them this afternoon! If they are a hit, I will share the recipe-very simple! Unfortunately, the darn cold wind kept us inside. The 'feels like' temperature hasn't gone above 2 yet today!💨 burr!!! I hope you all have a fabulous Valentine's Day on Sunday! Enjoy the love!❤️💗❤️ Valentine's Party tomorrow. This is your forewarning-the "sugar high" is in affect (and they haven't even had any yet)!!! They are all SUPER excited about their party day today and tomorrow!💗❤️💗
We enjoyed the nicer weather with an outing to the library for story time. Valentine's Day was the topic of discussion! After story time, they all made Love Bugs!🐞 Ms.Madeline passed out Valentine's and book marks for everyone!💗 Have a great afternoon and soak in the vitamin D if you can!☀️ Weekly payments are due tomorrow morning. We're missing our "warm winter weather"-we miss being able to run around outside and soak in the sunshine and fresh air!! We are hopeful this cold snap won't last too much longer.
We enjoyed playing with the babies again and building towers out of blocks. We focused on the letter V, our faith lesson and Valentine's Day. We read our Faith Lesson story about Moses and then we made a lacing heart for our project. We even got to use REAL needles (big plastic ones)!!! Obviously, when you are 4 and 5, this is a VERY big deal!😉. We also read s silly nursery rhyme book called, "Will You Be Mine?" In the end, the poodle and cat got married! Have a great afternoon and stay warm! |
