MerryChristmas!! What a fun party day we have had so far and we aren't done yet either! We started our morni g with Rudolph Donuts and yogurt! Yum! The kids chose the movie and although not really Christmasy, they still enjoyed it. Frozen was their pick! They decorated and wrapped up their gifts for mommies and daddies and then it was time for the gift exchange! All of the kids lived their gifts and had so much fun playing together after they opened them. We still an to decorate gingerbread cookies this afternoon and watch the schools gets open their gifts. Thank you all for the gifts also, the kids each helped me open them! I hope you all have a great weekend!
Exposures-still safe!! Tomorrow is our party day! We will be having fun throughout the day and we will have our gift exchange, too! Some gifts are already under the tree! The kids can't wait! We'll be watching a fun holiday movie tomorrow, too! Ho ho ho! Exposures: We are safe!!! Nothing to share today! Weekly payments are due tomorrow and we are having our Christmas Party and gift exchange on Friday. Everyone was here today so we were busy making gifts!!!! Shhhhhh, it's a surprise! We also talked more about gingerbread cookies! We made baker's aprons, too. Miss Sarah came for Traveling Tales today and she gave us candy canes! :) yum! Have a great afternoon! Exposures: Drew went home yesterday with diarrhea. We WILL catch a break, eventually, right??? Preschool fun for today! The kids came home with candy canes today. Once we were back at the house, we enjoyed lunch and then sang songs before snuggling in for the afternoon. We are hoping that everyone will be here tomorrow so we can make our gifts for mommies and daddies (fingers crossed that everyone is healthy)! Traveling Tales visits us tomorrow, too! Have a great afternoon. Exposures-Corbin is out today with a fever and the stomach flu struck again over the weekend (Aiden and Zoe shared it with their mommy)! Friday will be our Christmas Party Day and we will have our gift exchange on Friday also. With such a rainy and damp Monday, we had extra indoor playtime today! We worked on our Faith Lesson and we talked about those silly gingerbread cookies. We made JOY Mobiles and Gingerbread Cookie Puppets. We read The Gingerbread Man and The Gingerbread Man Goes to School. Of course, we had LOTS of music fun with all of our favorite Christmas songs! Have a great day! Zoe is still out with a croupy cough, hope she gets better soon, we miss her! If anyone would happen to get sick over the weekend, please remember to share the news with me so I can be sure to give a heads up to all of our families (hoping we won't share any more bugs though)! Don't forget, next week (Friday), is our holiday party! Name exchanges are listed on the important tab for the gift exchange ($5). We have some fun holiday plans for Friday! We enjoyed sharing our stars today! We talked about the star shining in the sky to guide them to Baby Jesus. We read one of my favorite holiday books, "Olive, the Other Reindeer." Of course, after reading the book, we had to sing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! We also sang Mr. Sun today because EVERY day on our weather chart has had a cloudy day, we thought if we sang a song to Mr. Sun, that maybe he would comeout this afternoon! Hoping everyone has a great weekend! Be good, Santa is watching!! ;) Exposures: Zoe is out with the stomach flu today, good luck on staying healthy!!! Tomorrow is Show & Tell something star shaped. A busy morning of preschool fun! Once again, singing was heard on the way to school today! :) The kids each had artwork from school to bring home today. I signed Zoe up for 1 gallon of milk and Kaitlyn for 2 dozen prepackaged cookies for the Christmas Program on the 23rd. Thank you! Have a great afternoon! The sun is trying to peek through! Exposures: more! :(. Unfortunately, we aren't clear from the stomach bug (Aiden was sick over the weekend and then sick again last night). Zoe is also home with a croupy cough now, too. Weekly payments due tomorrow morning and if you want to sign up for anything for the AGC Christmas Program, please let me know by tomorrow morning. I had hoped to work on some Christmas gifts today, but since Zoe was gone, we'll wait until everyone is here to work on them together. We did do our Faith Lesson and we talked about giving gifts to others. We LOVED singing J-E-S-U-S (sung to the tune of B-I-N-G-O). Our projects were making J for Jesus pages and we made gift boxes. We talked about taking them home and giving people gifts with our gift boxes! ;) The weather has been amazing and we took full advantage of it and enjoyed the great outdoors! Have a great afternoon! Exposures: I think we are safe from the stomach flu from Harrison, but passing along that Kaitlyn got to spend the night at the hospital on Saturday night with a very bad croupy cough. :(. She is better now, but I know we were all together on Friday. Also, AGC had a notice of diarrhea exposure, too! :(. Tis the season-wash, wash, wash those hands! The kids sang ALL the way to preschool this morning! I heard all of the Christmas carols they know! Too cute! After preschool, we played outside while we waited for lunch. Everyone ate a great lunch and all were ready to snuggle in for an afternoon nap. Please see the following sign up page at AGC for their Christmas Program. Please let me know if you want to sign up for anything and I will put your name down on Thursday. Thank you! Reminder-daycare is closed on Monday. We are back on track today after our first round of the stomach flu (fingers crossed no one else gets it)! Harrison did stay home again today, but just to have a low key day after getting no sleep Wednesday night. We enjoyed our green day for Show & Tell! For project time, we made green wreaths and we made stockings to take home, too! Next, it was time to enjoy some fresh air! Our coats might smell a little smokey since we started up the fire pit while we were outside (had to take advantage of the calm day on our hill to burn some leaves). The kids LOVED having the fire going! It felt more like a fall day in October than December! Have a great weekend and we will see you all on Tuesday! |
