Tomorrow is the 1st-please have payments ready at morning drop off-I won’t see most of you for afternoon pick up (Before School, Monthly and Bi-Monthly) We started our Monday caring for babies with the doctor kits and then we made sure the princesses and horses were ready to show off their stuff. For CIRCLE TIME today, we reviewed all of September’s learning fun and we went through and sang all of the new songs we learned this month. Since we doubled up on projects on Friday, we didn’t have a project today! That meant an extra long outdoor playtime! It was still super muddy from the weekend, so we had fun on the driveway. We still found some mud, though! Fast run I g on the driveway led to a wipeout of skinned knees-but nothing a little TLC and bandaids couldn’t fix! We’ll be enjoying meatballs, oranges and tator tots for lunch today. We are loving this nice weather and soaking it in since the rest of the week looks pretty wet!🙁 Hope you are having a great MONDAY!

NEXT WEEK~ What a wet start to our day! Yuck!💦⛈⚡️We didn’t make it outside, but we have kept busy inside. We made forts, played with the construction toys and the tiny animals. During CIRCLE TIME, we focused on the number 3 and we talked about all that we have learned this month-Blue, circle, ABC and 123. Since we had extra indoor time, we worked on Monday’s project, too (that way we will get extra outside time in Monday)! We did our number 3 pages and we did our end of month certificate!🎡 We learned so much this month! For lunch, we ate chicken nuggets, corn and peaches. After a little bit of quiet play, we’ll watch a movie together since it’s so wet outside. Have a great weekend!
Show and Tell is FREE CHOICE~please remember, just ONE item and it should fit IN their cubby Johnny Appleseed was our topic of discussion today. Did you know his real name was John Chapman?🍎🍏 Ask the kid’s what they know about him. We made puppets for our PROJECT TIME. Before CIRCLE TIME started, we had fun with they tiny animals, trio blocks (we made a zoo), dominos and potato heads. It was SO nice outside. The kids got a few good games of tag and hide and go seek in before we had to come in for lunch. For lunch, we ate ham and cheese roll ups, yogurt and fresh fruits. It was a hit-not a scrap leftover for poor Luke. We’ll be heading to preschool soon-I’ll pull the requested snack wish list items and put them in your child’s backpack. Have a great afternoon!☀️
Weekly Fees are due tomorrow morning We got busy right away, focusing on the letter C again. Today, we made cows for our PROJECT TIME after talking about cows during CIRCLE TIME. Because of daycare on the farm, they were all able to say they have bottle fed, given food and pet a cow before! We talked about all of our heifers/steers (Harry, Bert, Lucy, Ethel and MooDonna). We also talked about Dan and Debbie’s cows. After our project was done, Ms. Tracy and Bo-Bo came to visit and read books about peace. Our outdoor time was a little shorter because of Traveling Tales, but we still got outside and we moved the baby chicks to a pen outside, so they could enjoy the fresh air , bugs and green grass.🐥 For lunch, we ate Mini Chicken Pot Pies, a recipe from our curriculum. It was about 50/50 on the kids liking it😉 We also ate carrots and strawberries with them. We’ll be heading to preschool soon!
Traveling Tales visits tomorrow! Yeah for more beautiful weather! Before heading out to enjoy it, we focused on the letter C. We practiced making Cs, writing C sight words (can, come, came) and we made a Crocodile C.🐊 We also read THE MIXED UP ALPHABET and WE ARE A RAINBOW. Since it was still really wet in the yard, we took our play time to the driveway. We made chalk roads and played with cars and trucks, then we traced each other, made a game of hopscotch, played tag and ended the fun with a mock baseball game-busy little bodies today! For lunch, we ate mini corn dogs, peas and apples. We’ll be off to preschool in a few! Have a great afternoon!
TODAY: 4 PM closure (fingers crossed this meet isn’t canceled) Happy Birthday to Zoe today!🥳 We had a VERY small group today, just Rylan and Charleigh (the Peterson boys are home taking care of each other😷) We focused on FALL today and the weather cooperated!🍂 We made Happy Fall Headbands, but we were a little glue happy today, so they are still drying!🤪 We read books about fall, talked about what changes we see in the fall and how we change in the fall to adjust to cooler weather. We played FARMER’S MARKET for play time, too!🍏🍅🌽🍎 For lunch, we ate fish sticks, green beans and bananas. We’ll be back from preschool around 3:50/3:55 for an EARLY PICK UP. October calendars are in the cubbies!🎃
MONDAY-Closing at 4PM (fingers crossed, these middle school kids need to show off their running skills at a XC meet) Happy Friday! Our morning started out pretty wet-so we enjoyed basket toys before diving into CIRCLE TIME. We shared our Show and Tell (ant man, baseball and cars), we talked about being happy and sad. Everyone showed me their happy and sad faces and we talked about what makes us happy (reading with mommy, playing at school) and what makes us sad (when a friend pushes us, when we do t have a friend to play with). For PROJECT TIME, we finished our weather chart for the week (another rainy spot colored in), we had to find all of the smiley faces on a sheet and color them in. Next, we colored happy and sad mice and made a puppet. We glued black pom poms on for their noses.🐭 It was still thundering out, so we grabbed our groceries in town, which the kids loved because the associate brought our mini muffins for everyone!🧁 When we got home, we unloaded groceries and then played outside on the patio-the yard was too wet and muddy. For lunch today, we ate pizza, fresh fruit and mixed veggies. Have a great weekend.
CLOSING AT 4 PM TODAY-I will return from preschool pick up around 3:50/3:55 We had a wet and windy start to our day. We kept busy with the doctor kits, baby dolls and waffle blocks before we got busy at CIRCLE TIME. For CIRCLE TIME, we focused on the number 2. We said it in English, in Spanish and in Sign Language. We went on a 2 Hunt and found 2s on the click, remote, calendar and on the fridge. For our PROJECT TIME, we traced the number 2 and made a few ourselves. We had a worksheet about 2s and really had to listen and follow directions! We also made a TWO PAGE and put two spider stickers on a web!🕷🕸🕷 After PROJECT TIME, we pulled out the Legos and started building! For lunch, we ate pancakes, eggs and oranges! The kids are VERY excited to show off their silly socks at school!🧦 We’ll see everyone right after preschool pick up today!
Weekly Fees due tomorrow morning Happy Wednesday! We focused our learning on Blue Birds today (and birds, in general). Fun facts we learned: an ostrich can ran as fast as 43 MPH and be as tall as 9 ft tall, a pelican can hold 3 gallons of water in it’s beak and blue birds can’t see the color blue😳. We learned a fun song and we made the most adorable little blue birds for our project. After project time, it was outside to listen to the birds sing and to play! For lunch, we ate goulash, broccoli and fresh pears. 😋Enjoy another summer like day if you can!
REGULAR DAY TODAY-No early pick up Happy Tuesday! We were busy learning about the letter B today! Bennett was a huge help with our letter of the day! We practiced making Bs, wrote B words and made a bee out of the letter B🐝 We sang silly alphabet songs and and thought of animals that started with the letter B. We also returned to yesterday’s graph and charted that today’s weather was sunny! We definitely got to enjoy the sunny weather, too!☀️ Jeb and Jethro were swing blockers today-they kept plopping under the swings making it hard to swing-silly dogs! For lunch, we ate chicken noodle casserole, peas and carrots and bananas. Enjoy your day!
