ALL payments are due tomorrow-monthly, bi-monthly, weekly and curriculum fees~it's February already! We had a small group since the Peterson boys were hanging with Grandma today. We took full advantage of the warm temps and ran around outside a lot! We checked on the goats to see how big their tummies are getting! Baby goats in the making! We enjoyed a walk around the property, too. We hope the fresh air will help us all battle the sickies going around!🤞🏻 A couple of our GO TO toys today were the Little People Toy Sets and the math cubes.

ALL payments are due on Thursday morning (monthly, bi-monthly, weekly and curriculum fees). The temperatures were warmer today, but that feels like temperature didn't budge much.😕 Indoor fun for us today. We played a polar animals matching game, focused on big and small, our colors and the shape of a heart. We learned a new song (see FB post---adorable) and we made a collage of hearts art project. To break up our indoor time, we took a break from 10-10:30 to watch Sesame Street. Lunch was pizza rolls, corn, yogurt and oranges (trying to push the vitamin C as much as I can)!😷
OUR WEEK AHEAD- We had a small group today, just the Peterson boys and Charleigh. We were out the door right away, to go pick up groceries. Even though it was very chilly, the toddlers ran around outside while I unloaded the groceries and Bennett snagged a morning nap, all cozy and warm in the car. Play time today was Doctoring Babies first and after returning home, it was Kitchen Fun! The kids were having a blast with the Velcro foods and the knife to cut up the food. They were very busy making all kinds of dishes for me to taste. For lunch, we warmed up leftovers, and it was yummy! Scalloped potatoes and ham, garlic green beans and we added some clementines and milk.
Enjoy your weekend! Happy Friday! We were very excited about the warmer temps today, but that darn wind made it pretty chilly out there! We played outside, then warmed up with a trip to the car wash (it really is an exciting field trip at this age). After the car was clean, we came back home and played outside some more! We played right up until lunch time again. We gobbled up mac n cheese, peas, yogurt and milk for lunch. We MAY have an afternoon visitor today, but we haven't confirmed a time yet. My friend, Jessica (and Graham's old provider), may be delivering her fish here (she is done with them and we are adopting them)!🐟🐠. If she comes, it will be toward the end of the day, and will surely be exciting!
Show and Tell is OCTAGON tomorrow. By 8:30 it was already feeling like 26 degrees, so after morning free play with math cubes, potato heads and barrel of monkeys, we did a quick calendar time and then headed outside to play! It was so nice to be outside for a long play time! The swing area was still muddy, but we were able to play every where else! The kids started picking up sticks in the yard and we started a little fire outside, too! We played outside until it was time to get lunch ready. We ate pizza rolls, green beans and pears for lunch.
Weekly payments are due tomorrow morning. Wednesday wackiness---I even checked to see if it was a full moon!😳 We focused on family today. We made coupon books to give hugs away and we made a puzzle with the story from the Bible about family. Since we were a little out of sorts today, we had to have a talk about our hands being for hugs and helping, hitting and hurting others with our hands makes us sad. It still wasn't warm enough to go outside this morning, but it looks like the next two days will be warmer! We ate chicken nuggets, bananas and tator tots for lunch-yummy!
Thursday is Aiden's Birthday! We were on the go all morning! We had to cancel Traveling Tales because of Harrison's orthodontist appointment. We were at the dentist longer than usual since Harrison had a procedure done. The kids were great and had fun playing in the 'kid's room' while we waited. Once back at home, we had fun building with blocks before it was time to eat lunch. We are a taco bake, apple slices, yogurt and milk. Everyone is down napping and we'll be ready to play this afternoon.
Our week ahead: A warm and wet start to our week! We love the warmer temps and can't wait for it to dry out the yard a bit! We enjoyed a morning of play with the kitchen set, baby doll and doctor set and we made a cute penguins in the snow project using white crayons, glue, foil and penguin stickers. Everyone is excited for afternoon snack, as Graham brought some birthday treats to share!
Have a great weekend and enjoy the heat wave!We had a penguin project to work on, but we bypassed it so we could have fun outside! We were out right away this morning and kind of glad we were out early, that wind really kicked in as the morning came in. We dug and shoveled in the snow! Before we know it, it will be gone again! After outside play time, we came back inside to warm up our fingers and toes and we played with our show and Tell. Around 10, we loaded up and ran to pick up groceries. The kids really thought I should wash the car, but I passed, hoping Mother Nature will give it a good washing on Sunday. I hope everyone stays healthy this weekend!
Show and Tell is FREE choice tomorrow. Warmer weather is creeping in! Unfortunately it still only felt like 16 by lunch time, so we didn't get outside to play, as we had hoped. Believe me, dressing and undressing infants and toddlers for outdoor play, one wants it warm enough for them to enjoy...not turn right back around in 5 minutes because "I cold."😉 We still had lots of polar fun inside. We made polar headbands, walked liked penguins, crawled like polar bears and had a snowball fight! Enjoy the sunshine!
