A lot due tomorrow morning! Wipes, Monthly Payments, Bi-Monthly Payments, Weekly Payments and Curriculum Fees are all due tomorrow morning. Half way through the week! We started out with a quick trip to Walmart to pick up our groceries....Walmart Pick Up is the MOST amazing thing ever!!! I have gained back an entire evening now that we go and pick up our order during the day...and we don't buy 'extras'! ;) Thanks to Monica for getting me started on it! When we got home, we played outside until it started to mist on us. For free play inside, we played with the Jungle and Jungle Animals and then we decided to get the baby's out and doctor them up. For Calendar and Circle Time, we talked about Baby Jesus and the good news the Shepherd's heard. For our project today, we made Shepherd's Head Coverings. The kids were fine with the bands, but they weren't too sure about the 'cloth' that went over their heads! We ate mac and cheese with peas, clementines and sliced bananas with our milk, for lunch. Yum! Stay warm! Sounds like we may see some snow soon!

We'll be grabbing groceries tomorrow morning. Happy Sunny Tuesday! We had a great time playing outside today. It was a little muddy, but it wasn't too bad. It was so nice to be able to get outside and enjoy the fresh air! We had fun playing with the cars and Littlest Pet Shop before we headed outside. We started our Faith Lesson a couple of days early for December (we have a lot of projects to squeeze in before the 16th)! We just read the story and talked about Baby Jesus. Before the kids left for school today, they drew names for the Gift Exchange (see the parent packet). Everyone is VERY excited about this fun activity! Grandma Betty and Papa Mike are planning to be here around 4 today, so our house could be very busy towards pick up time! Have a great afternoon and enjoy the sunshine before it's gone!
Welcome back!! I'll be honest-a Monday, a RAINY Monday and a Monday after a 4 day break---yep, not a lot happening today!😜 The kids were totally mesmerized by the tree and all of the ornaments! They loved seeing new trinkets throughout the house, too!🎄🎁 Not only did we have new Christmas decorations to look at, Harrison added another pet to our house-Lenny the crested gecko is in the living room, too! We listened to LOTS of Christmas music all morning while we played inside. Of course, we read some fun winter books, too. We also sang Rudolph and Jingle Bells 🎶. We also sang a special song to our newest 2 year old! Happy Birthday, Charleigh! She brought puppy chow to share with everyone this afternoon! Yum yum!🎉
Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Wishing everyone safe travels and fabulous family time this holiday weekend! We have a small group today and it's getting smaller and smaller. Harrison and Tori already left with Heath to go to Grandma and Papa's for the night. We're down to Charleigh, Corbin and Rylan. We're eating lunch now, then reading a couple more Thanksgiving books before going down for afternoon naps. Corbin is going to watch a movie today, while the littles nap. Even though it's been too wet and dreary to be outside, we're making the best of it! We made turkey handprints and we had lots of free play. The school agers played Sorry! and Chutes and Ladders. They had a lot of fun! Have a great afternoon!
If you didn't read Monday's blog, please do so-it is FULL of info! We had a girl's day!! Since Graham was home sick, it was just Ava and Charleigh today. Since we were grabbing groceries anyway, we decided to stop and Kihls and shop a little, too. We didn't buy anything, but the girls sure did have fun chatting with the employees and being silly. They definitely knew how to get everyone to smile and one pregnant employee hopes that she has a sweet, silly and smart little girl like them!😍 After shopping, we came home and played doctor with the babies. We then played house with the big dollhouse. After play time, we decided to paint our nails! They are showing off some pretty pink fingernails today!
LOTS of info! Happy Monday! We were busy today! After Calendar and Circle Time, we made Thankful Placemats and then we made a cornucopia! I had to help the kids with crayon rubbings for this project, but once I helped them, they really seemed to like it! Of course, we used stickers, too-that is always a big hit! After free play and projects, we geared up and enjoyed the fresh air! It sounds like rainy days are coming, so we wanted to get outside while we could. We were learning a lot about the wood stove today. We talked a lot about HOT and no running in the house. Walking feet in the house is best at all times! The kids were in awe as I would toss wood in the stove!🔥 Stay warm!!
Short week next week. Traveling Tales visits on Monday. Weekly payments due Tuesday. No school on Wednesday-small group of kiddos on Wednesday (let me know your pick up plans when you know for Wednesday). I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving! Daycare closed on Thursday and Friday.Happy Friday! We had awesome rectangle show and tell items today! The kids just LOVE bringing toys from home on this day (and we learn a lot about sharing and taking turns)!😉 We got outside early to enjoy the warm temps, before Old Man Winter came busting through the door!💨 We had fun acting like turkeys and working on our gobbles for circle time. We made turkey headbands for our project, today. Stay warm today! We might have to break out the hot chocolate this afternoon!
Show and Tell tomorrow-rectangle. Oh my goodness!!!! I had planned to do some projects today, but when the weather forecast is this nice in November-you take full advantage of it! We grabbed our groceries and we were back home by 8:45, put them away and we were outside playing! It was windy, but such a nice warm breeze! We will have plenty of extra project time once the weather turns on us.😉 I hope everyone can get outside and soak in the beautiful day!
Weekly payments are due tomorrow morning. Happy Wednesday! Thank you all for being here by 8:15 so we could get Harrison to the orthodontist. Once we dropped him back off at school, we came home to start our day! We enjoyed free play with Littlest Pet Shop and then for project time, we made a Thanksgiving Banner! I can't believe it's almost turkey time!!! We talked about being with family onThanksgiving. After we were done inside, it was time for our morning walk and outdoor play time! We can't wait for 70 degrees tomorrow!!!!😳. Enjoy the sunshine today!☀️
We'll be leaving EARLY tomorrow for Harrison's orthodontist appointment (a change in the calendar). Connor will also be here. What a foggy start to our day! We tried watching the bus, but we couldn't see it!!! We played with the dragon set during free play and then we got busy! During circle time, we talked about our Faith Lesson and talked more about Ruth gathering barley and how we need to be thankful for what God gives us. For our project time, we made Ruth and Naomi puppets and baskets with barley in them. During circle time, we also learned the nursery rhyme, Little Boy Blue. We made horns so we could blow our horns like him. After project time, we went for a walk, then we let the chickens and ducks out and then we played in the yard with some sunshine (finally)!
