March Calendars went home yesterday We made it to Friday without any snow this week!!! Yea! We can see the grass in a few spots now, too! Preschool day fun ancon the go all morning. Apparently, the boys got to see baby pigs and sheep at preschool-how fun! The girls and I enjoyed being silly at home. We dressed up and used our imaginations, a lot! Ana and Elsa were visiting us today! We played with the baby goats, we laughed at our melting snowman and we tried to stop at the library, but forgot that they don’t open until 1 on Fridays. Oops! Once we were all back home, we had chicken noodle casserole, yogurt and peaches for lunch-yum, yum! We read LET’S WATCH TGE TRUCKS and PLEASE PUPPY, PLEASE! We enjoyed watching the LP tank be filled by the BIG truck and watching him drive backwards in the back yard! He had quite the audience watching him! After naptime, we’ll wrap up our February learning with our February learning certificate. Enjoy the weekend ahead!

Tomorrow: Preschool Day! We had a great PAJAMA DAY-any day you can wear your jammies all day is a great day! While the boys were at preschool, it was gymnastics fun here at home. We did somersaults, balance beam and butterfly stretches. They also had fun with the Squinkies-the smaller the toy, the more fun they have! We checked in the baby goats, opened up their doors and let them soak in the sunshine! It is so nice to be able to go outside without layering up! After we grabbed the boys, it was gone for lunch. Spaghetti O’s (haven’t had those in YEARS), peas and fruit cocktail was on the menu today. We’ll work on our project this afternoon! Enjoy the ☀️!
PAJAMA DAY tomorrow! We started today with the dollhouse and dragon sets~so much fun. Our project was focused on our 5 senses-ask the kids if they can name all five! We made books about our five senses and then shared our Show and Tell and used our senses to describe them (no worries, we didn’t taste our toys)!😜 The sun disappeared and the wind picked up, but it was still warm enough to go outside and play. We made a snowman, made snowballs, lost a few boots in the deep snow, and giggled like crazy! After playing outside, the Snowpants, hats and mittens went straight to the washer-they’ll be clean and dry for tomorrow! For lunch today, we ate cheeseburger macaroni, bananas and peas. After quiet book time, we read MUDDYPAWS, which was very fitting for life on the farm in the springtime~we’ll have mud for days!!!🐾🐾
TOMORROW: Show& Tell FREE CHOICE Another awesome spring like day! We got busy with our project and then outside to play the rest of the morning! We talked about the letter Qq, practiced writing Qq, wrote some practice sight words and then colored a Q and added fabric squares to it to make a QUILT. Next, OUTSIDE TIME!☀️ So much fun tromping through snow, making snowballs, sledding, climbing mountains, sliding and swinging (everyone can touch the ground with all of our snow)! We stayed outside until we absolutely had to come in to get lunch ready. Everyone was sopping wet, so snow pants, hats and mittens are outside drying! A few had wet socks, so we changed those that needed changed. We even opened a few windows to bring the fresh air inside with us!☀️ For lunch, we had chicken taquitos, corn and apple slices. Before naptime, I read POLAR BEAR, POLAR BEAR, WHAT DO YOU HEAR? and IT’S NOT EASY BEING NUMBER THREE. Enjoy the sunshine and bear 50° temps!😁
