THIS WEEK~ Today was all about our Three Year Old Preschool girls who are OFFICIALLY done and moving on up to 4 year old preschool! After we dropped the kiddos off, Crew and I grabbed a grocery order, unloaded them at home and then went back to preschool to celebrate with the girls snd their classmates. They had bubbles and popsicles and played outside. Thankfully, the rain held off. We snagged some group photos today, too. Tomorrow, we are planning a party day after the boys are done with preschool. Please send your child in TENNIS SHOES and SOCKS! I will be sending items home each day this week, so please keep sending their backpacks, I’ll try to spread it out so it’s not too much in one day! Today, I’m sending home water bottles, masks, lip balms, and jackets and a few things from their back up cubbies.

Next week, our final week….
TOMORROW: we’ll celebrate Benny and Maddox at preschool for their graduation at 8:30. After their celebration, we are ALL going to go to a park to play. Preschool days are dwindling away! Everyone went to school and then Crew and I did a goat check in North Liberty and then in Ely. We came home and and checked on new baby goats, let the dogs out and then got ready to go pick up the kids at preschool. We came home after stopping to get gas and the kids played outside while I prepped lunch. We had taco salads with chips, orange smiles and peas. After clean up, we read CLIFFORD MAKES A SPLASH and OLIVIA TRAINS HER CAT. We talked about going to the park tomorrow after preschool and celebrating our two preschool graduates! 🎓🎓
Four Year Old Preschool Graduation Celebration is Friday at 8:30 am at AGC. Please let me know if you plan to attend with your child. Rainy days mean indoor exploring! We had fun playing house while the boys were at preschool. We did a quick morning goat check, too. For lunch, we had pizza rolls, corn and yogurt. After clean up and quiet book time, we read TEETH and SLEEPY DOG before snuggling in on this dreary afternoon. I asked if I could nap with them, but they all told me I can’t do that!😜 Extra hugs for and from everyone today. 💔🙏🏻❤️🩹
Daily Goat Checks when needed throughout our remaining days.Tuesdays and Thursdays are typically pretty quiet, but not today! After preschool drop off, Crew and I went to the trail in Ely for a quick goat check. All was well with the herd and Crew enjoyed telling each and every one of them HI (all 30 of them)!🤣 Him and I came home and took some of the fencing down in the front yard before he wanted a little morning siesta. Next, it was time to head back to preschool. When we got there, we were greeted by Blaire and her teacher (Blaire had fallen and had a bloody nose). You all know Blaire, not much keeps her down, but my momma gut told me something more was going on (fingers crossed I’m wrong). After we gathered the rest of the kids up, I called Jen to chat with her about Blaire and then ended up taking Blaire to her at Hill…Jen agreed, something isn’t right and she has a doctor’s appointment. Blaire ended up staying with Jen and the kids were SO concerned about her and miss her terribly! I reassured them that Blaire will be okay and that she really needed her momma right now and this gives her momma an opportunity to keep a closer eye on her. After going to Hill, we went home, the kids played outside while I got lunch ready and then we ate. We had chicken nuggets, green beans and fruit cocktail. Since we were behind schedule, after clean up time, everyone snuggled in for a little rest. Say an extra prayer for little Miss Blaire that she starts to feeling better soon.
Quiet week ahead-I’m ready for it! It seems like it’s been FOREVER since we have been together! We had free play while everyone arrived, then we made beautiful cards for the library since today was the final Traveling Tales book pick up. Next, we loaded up and did a quick grocery pick up because I hadn’t been into town since last week. We grabbed the groceries and then came home to play outside the rest of the morning. We wore our farm boots to play because while the kids were gone, the goats cleaned up the back yard and left some fertilizer for us!😉 We also met 8 new baby chicks and found out we will have more delivered tomorrow! Next on our list, is to buy some baby ducks and maybe a goose or two! After playing outside all morning, we came inside to eat meatballs, pears and pineapples and yogurt. We’re planning to have apple slices and peanut butter for our afternoon snack. Before snuggling in for a little rest, we all shared our Show &Tell and I read Ellie’s book about scars…so then we all got to share our own scars with everyone! We’ll be back outside to play this afternoon!
