All payments are due tomorrow by 8 am The snow brought on a whole new level of energy today! We packed up all of their snow gear for preschool, but it had turned over to more of a rain/sleet mix by the time it was recess, so they didn’t get to play in it…and now most of it is gone already! We had tater tot casserole, bread and butter and oranges for lunch. We revisited all of our March songs, color, shape, letters and numbers before settling down for an afternoon siesta. We’ll do our final March project after snack time. We have been working on our April Fool’s Day jokes, too…so beware!!😆

Happy 5th Birthday to Benny!🥳 We’ve had a great morning, despite the rainy day. Thank goodness the temps are warmer today and the wind has settled. We hear there may be SNOW coming?!?!? After we dropped off Maddox and picked up Crew at AGC, we ran into CR for a quick goodwill drop off to get rid of a few things-moving out some piles!!🙌🏻 When we got home, the girls wanted to play house and make food. Harrison was home for a bit between his morning practice and class time, so the girls were busy making platefuls of food for Harrison and Crew! For lunch, we had fish sticks, cauliflower and broccoli and bananas. The kids are SUPER excited for afternoon snack since Benny brought cookies to share with everyone! We’ll tackle another project this afternoon and send home some adorable hatching chicks the kids made yesterday!🐣
April calendars and info went home yesterday-THANK YOU to those that have already brought in your items needed-much appreciated! Wow-what a blast of cold air today! The kids all got to play outside at preschool, but as we were loading into the car to leave preschool, the boys told everyone it was too cold to play outside again and that they wanted to play inside with Legos this afternoon !😆 Although fresh air is nice, I think they all got a little chilly while outside playing today! The boys couldn’t remember what they ate for snack, but the girls knew they had carrots and milk with a few goldfish crackers, too. For lunch, we had chicken taquitos, corn and apple slices. Before snuggling in for a rest, we read OINK A DOODLE MOO and CHILDREN MAKE TERRIBLE PETS. Ask the kids what pet Lucy wanted after Squeaker went back home to his family. We’ll send home yesterday’s projects and then work on some new projects this afternoon. We are wrapping up our March projects and getting ready for some spring fun with APRIL!
Everyone got the exposure notice to Strep Throat-so fingers crossed we all stay healthy.🤞🏻 So far, we are all good! I love Mondays! No running out the door right away, lots of free play, project time, outdoor time and story time with Ms. Sarah! We had a GREAT day today! After free play, it was IN PERSON STORY TIME AGAIN! Woo hoo! We love that Traveling Tales is back in person! Let’s hope it stays that way! After we sang goodbye to BoBo, we worked in a fun spring project. We talked about the bugs we find outside and colored a backyard picture. The boys then cut grass (it was super hard to cut, but they did an awesome job)! I helped the girls since it was such a hard project this morning. After our project, it was outside to play! It was super chilly, but we still had fun running, swinging, collecting sticks and digging in the dirt. For lunch, we had homemade beef and noodles, peas and pineapple. For story time, we read two silly books-I BROKE MY BUTT and DON’T LET THE PIGEON STAY UP LATE! We’ll work on another project this afternoon after our afternoon snack. See everyone this afternoon!
Monday-SHOW AND TELL DIAMOND We’ve had cloudy, sunny, calm and windy weather already today! The birds are still chirping and we are starting to see more green! We’re hoping we’ll be seeing a few more baby goats to be born over the next week and a half-so things might get a little crazy around here!😜. After dropping the boys off at preschool, we were off to play at home. At that time, the wind was picking up and the clouds were heavy, so we opted to play inside. We had fun with the peg boards, look and find books and a huge box of happy meal toys-they loved them!! We left a little earlier for preschool pick up because of the road construction and dropped off some eggs at a friend’s house before the wind blew us into preschool. For lunch, we had blueberry waffles, sausage patties, bananas and oranges-definitely a favorite of theirs, everyone had clean plates and gobbled it up quickly.
Our week is flying by…Thursday already! The kids LOVED seeing the snow falling early this morning. It definitely sparked a little excitement, so much excitement that they wanted to sing FROSTY and RUDOLPH songs!❄️☃️❄️ It was s as preschool day for everyone but little Crew, so him snd I came home to play, build blocks, chase Tiggy and eat! The big kids said they had cookies at preschool and the girls brought home LOTS of painting artwork! Such masterpieces! For lunch, we had goulash, corn and apple slices. After quiet book time, we gathered around and worked on some baby signs together, so we can ‘talk’ to Crew a little more. We love to sign and we love how much sign language Ellie knows! She was so excited to be able to show the other kids some words she knew. After doing some sign language fun with Crew, everyone picked out a song and we sang each one. We’ll continue on with some projects after snack time this afternoon.
Half way through the week!We had another dreary day outside, but we are still looking for all of the good that comes from rainy spring days! Soon we’ll have lots and lots of green grass to run through outside! We took the boys to school and then we came home to play house and dollhouse. The girls loved getting the BIG dollhouse out. Of course, Crew likes to tear things down, so it became a game of what they would set up and what he would tear down. Thankfully, they all understand he’s little and still learning how to play. I think at one point they were just setting up to see how fast he would tear it all down! Good sports, for sure! We listened to lots of Disney music and danced around the living room. After we picked up the boys from preschool, we took off for the ranch. We loved seeing all of the white birds in the fields just south of Ely-there were SO many of them! We came home and ate pasta with sausage and zucchini (they actually all ate it), fresh carrots with ranch and clementines. I think the clementines were their favorites though. Since we focused on our letters and numbers yesterday (S, T, 15 and 16), we had fun counting and singing and listening to letter songs after lunch. We listened to two of Jack Hartman’s letter songs. We have a couple of projects to work on this afternoon after our snack time.
A quiet week after spring break☀️Even though it’s rainy, we are still happy because it’s warm! We’re excited to see the grass turn green and spring flowers to start sprouting with the rainy weather of today. Everyone was back in school today and everyone was super excited to see their teachers and friends! The boys had a silly hat day and the girls did lots of painting while at school. Crew and I stayed inside, ate, played, ate again and made lots of silly faces at each other. For lunch, we had corn dogs, green beans and bananas. After lunch and while I cleaned up, the kids worked on a BIG floor puzzle together. Next, we read VEGETABLES IN UNDERWEAR and JUNK, A SPECTACULAR TALE OF TRASH. After naps and an afternoon snack, we’ll tackle some projects so we can get ahead and then spend our next sunny day back outside playing!
WELCOME BACK!☀️ Oh it was so good to be back together again! It sounds like several of the kids had amazing little vacations! We had a blast playing outside on this gorgeous morning! We went for a walk, we met our newest little goats and we just simply enjoyed a day of playing together outside! Several of the kids were still on vacation mode and they all hit a wall around 10:45….sooooo tired and soooooo hungry!😜 We came in and did a quick project about the weather and then we made lunch. We had french toast bites, eggs and yogurt. Everyone gobbled it all up! After story time, sharing our show and tell and a few silly songs, everyone was ready to snuggle in for a rest. Tired, tired kiddos!
I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC spring break!☀️ We started out with pretty decent weather and I was really hopeful to get outside this afternoon (but those temps really dropped once the wind picked up)-BURR! It was a big change from preschool drop off to preschool pick up! We had a very small group, as Emmie is still at hone recovering from Influenza A and Blaire had a day planned at home already. Ellie was all about playing with Crew this morning and making him smile! For lunch, we had macaroni and cheese, peas and applesauce. We read PIG THE TOURIST and WILLAMBEE STANLEY’S STORE. We’ll tackle some projects this afternoon and maybe watch a fun video to wrap up our week. For those traveling to warmer destinations, please bring back some warmer weather and lots and lots of sunshine!!
