Monthly and Bi-Monthly Payments are due Monday morning. What a way to kickoff the weekend-such a gorgeous day! We spent all morning outside! Yea! With sunscreen and bug spray, we were golden! We even got some extra play time outside because today’s lunch took 40 minutes to bake in the oven, so we had a late lunch. We had chicken legs, carrots, chex mix and pears for lunch. We just finished and read a book about TIGER. Ask the kids what they had to do to keep TIGER asleep while we read the book. I JUST got the littles down (Maddox, Benny and Malia) today-so our naptime will go a little later than usual. I’m hoping to send Harrison out to mow then we’ll be back outside after he is done. Have a great weekend and enjoy the weather!

Weekly fees due today. We had a great morning outside until the weather started changing. We took off to get lunch around 11 to beat the rain, but it started down pouring on us on the way home. We all got a little wet on the way back inside-but it sure made them giggle! While inside, I prepped lunch and they played. For lunch, we had breakfast pizza, hash browns, peaches and banana. During lunch, they started planning a movie afternoon since it was raining and Phineas and Ferb-the Movie, won! Before going down for nap time, I read SNAIL AND WORM. Stay dry if you can today!
Weekly fees due tomorrow. Happy Wednesday! We bypassed project time this morning because we wanted to play outside before the storms moved in! If t starts raining this afternoon, we’ll use that time for indoor project time. We sunscreened up, bug sprayed up and went outside! Too nice to be inside today. Lunch was mini pancakes, omelets, hash browns and apples. Their tummies are full! We’ll see you this afternoon and we’ll hopefully be back outside playing! Thank you again for being so flexible with yesterday’s mishap! Glad H and T are old enough and responsible enough to help out when needed!
Welcome back! Summer weather! Yea!!!☀️ We enjoyed being outside most of the morning, being in sunscreen and hats for each child to leave here for the summer. I will be going through back up cubbies and sending home a list this week-please watch for it and being in the items your child(ren) need to have here for a fun summer. We did work on the letter Y, Y sight words and we made a Yak! This project didn’t take too long and still gave us LOTS of outdoor fun! This is our last week for projects (not saying we won’t have project days), but we go on summer mode after this week. Lunch was chicken poppers, carrots and bananas. We read NOT YOUR NEST before settling down for an afternoon rest. We’ll be outside soon to burn off more energy!
Reminder of NO DAYCARE on Monday (I still can’t believe we are already to Memorial Day Weekend)!😲Ok, the weather is NOT funny, anymore! Please send sunshine with your kids tomorrow....paaaaaalease! 🙏🏻 We had a smaller group and I needed to run to the bank to pick up business forms-but the line was 12 deep and only one lane open, so we drove through (we will try again here in a little bit)🤞🏻 We played inside and outside, dropped off Harrison to practice dance moves and even snuck back to watch him a little! Lunch was chicken patties, carrots and apples. We will try the bank one more time when Harrison calls and needs a ride home-hoping it isn’t too long of a wait this time! Tori is tackling a recipe to make Smores Cookies-so we hope the recipe turns out for snack time! Yum!
Weekly fees due tomorrow. Hello Wednesday!! When is the sun coming back?!?! I thought it was to be nicer outside, today? We did get out, but it was misty on and off and a little breezy🤷🏻♀️ I’m ready for 75° and sunshine! ☀️ The kids are enjoying hand me down toys from a couple of families, if you are cleaning out toys, we would LOVE little trinket toys (think Happy Meal toys)-please, nothing big and nothing that takes batteries...they will live outside! We ran to the bank to drop off business forms, grab lunch and to drop Harrison off for another crash course in show choir dancing (he can sing, now he needs to figure out the moves)! We ate chicken tenders, yogurt and bananas for lunch, read books and just settled tge little boys down for a nap. Fingers crossed the day just stays cloudy and doesn’t bring more rain!🤞🏻 Have a great afternoon!
Weekly fees due Thursday morning. Burr, Mother Nature is moody lately! Thankfully, no rain today-so we got outside to play! Please remember, our hill is windy and it gets chilly when we are outside for hours at a time, so please bring jackets to keep the kids warm so we can enjoy the outdoors! We worked on our school packets this morning. Preschoolers did a color by number page, Kindergartens did a color by sum page and 2nd graders read a story and answered questions. During outside play time, we took Harrison to the park for a crash course in show choir and we grabbed our lunch while we were out. We came home to keep playing outside until lunch was ready. We ate muffins, cheese sticks, hash browns and apples for lunch. I’ll be leaving right at 5 to pick up Harrison and Tori from their job-so please pick up promptly. Thank you!
Prompt pick up today and tomorrow (locker clean out and picking Harrison up from work). I clearly missed the weather report for today...where did this wet and dreary Monday come from? We have been inside today with the yucky weather outside. We worked on our packets from last week and each group did their own project. The preschoolers found their name letters from ads and glued them to their front page. Max worked on another Color By Number page and Corbin worked in more math problems. When we weren’t working on school packets, the kids were working on Legos, potato heads and the preschoolers computers. For lunch, we had pizza crunchers, pears, carrots and cauliflower. We just read two books for story time and now the littles are down for a nap and we thought we would settle in for an afternoon movie on this wet Monday. Toy Story 4 won the vote. I’m thinking it will be a good afternoon to pull out the shaving cream after the movie for some sensory play! Stay dry as nd warm, if you can! See you this afternoon!
Happy Weekend!Yay for a gorgeous day! We did a quick project this morning (paper plate collage and school packets) before heading out to play. If you hear that I’m a monster, it’s because we had to go over the chickens having an electric fence now. I stressed to not touch it and if they did, I would have to eat their fried fingers and toes!😜 Soooo, now I’m a monster since I eat fingers and toes!🤣 At least I’m not a zombie 🧟♀️! So far, I’m getting pretty hungry! For lunch, it was quesadillas, apples and carrots. After quiet book time, story time (Prince Fly Guy), we settled the littles down for a nap and got ready to takeHarrison to his job. Apologies now, the kids are all planning to live in mansions (I dropped him off at Keystone on Lakeside to do some yard beautification for the home owner’s association)! They all have major plans to live together in a mansion and they will each have their own job at the house!🥰 We’re back home and enjoying this Oregon’s day outside after a second sunscreen application! Please bring in sunscreen if you have not yet! Enjoy the day!☀️
Weekly fees due today, bi-monthly due tomorrow.Rain rain go away! It was a dreary morning-but we made the best of it. Trio blocks, Legos and babies were the top three choices when pulling out the toys. We focused on the number 19 and ourselves! Everyone made a mirror of themselves-so cute! The older kids focused on math today with word problems. Lunch was another favorite, omelets, French toast sticks, tator tots and orange smiles. After quiet book time and a story, we are going to get Maddox settled for a nap and head outside (since the rain is disappearing for a bit)! Let’s hope the afternoon round of storms comes later than expected and aren’t too fierce! Have a great afternoon !
