Preschool tomorrow, as usual We were all about the Number 2 today! We started with our scrapbook page, practiced writing 2 and TWO and then we made a flower pot with 2 flowers.🌷🌷 Off to preschool drop off next and then Crew and I ran into HyVee to place a corsage order before we ran out of time to get it done.🌹 Once back at home, he ate and then took a little cat nap before it was time to head back to preschool. Once back at home, we had lunch, which was cheeseburgers, corn and pears. Before going down for nap/rest time, we read HOORAY FOR HAT!, sang TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR and then counted to TWO in Spanish.

Preschool Thursday & Friday Happy Wednesday! Everyone is back and we are still hoping Benny didn’t share his tummy bug with anyone (but if he did, it seems to have been a short lived bug-WHEW)! From my experience over the years, these bugs have a 3 day turnaround…so we shall see what happens!🤷🏻♀️🙏🏻 We started our day off matching boats and then we made a sailboat picture using a paper plate, colors and markers, glue and foam sea creature stickers. The kids are doing great with arriving and getting right to work writing their names after a bathroom break. The kids are also doing very well walking in line and taking turns being the leader at preschool drop off and pick up. I only have one free hand at preschool, so we have been working very hard on this task! Way to go kiddos! Once back at home, the girls chose Legos while I fed Crew and got him settled for his morning nap and then it was outside play time. After preschool pick up, it was home to eat pizza burgers, green beans and strawberry applesauce-yum. We read I WILL TAKE A NAP and SO BIG! before singing FIVE LITTLE SAILBOATS and THE WHEELS ON THE BUS. Enjoy your Wednesday!☀️
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BLAIRE!🥳 We had a small group with Benny and Crew gone for a recovery day at home and Blaire got a special day at home with her mommy. We started our morning writing our name on our project pages. Everyone did their Bb page, colored a bus and write their Bb site words (be, blue, but). We still have a Bb bird to make, so we’ll tackle that project after our afternoon snack. The kids had fun at preschool and today was their first Chapel Day-they LOVED it! We came home and had chicken nuggets, waffle fries and oranges. Before snuggling down for naps and rest time, we read BUG ZOO and FALL WITH LILY AND MILO. We also sang the song, I’M A NUT 🌰! Enjoy another beautiful day!
THIS WEEK: We had a gorgeous start to our week! We worked on our project about SAME & DIFFERENT to start our morning. Free Play for just a little while was Legos and it was just until Ms. Sarah came for Traveling Tales. She read farm books to us and one book was THE GREEDY GOAT. We enjoyed story time outside on the deck. After Traveling Tales, we took off for the back yard to play! We stayed outside until we had to come in to get lunch ready. For lunch, we had fish sticks, broccoli and fruit cocktail. Enjoy the day!
TODAY-pick up by 5:00! Please plan accordingly with the extra traffic and expected road closures from the concert. We are soaking in the sunshine!☀️ Today, we focused more on our Grandparents. We made gifts to give them, so be sure to check in their backpacks. We continued to work on our song, too. While the boys were at school, we played kitchen inside, we finished our gifts for our grandparents and we played outside. Once we picked up the boys, we came home to eat pizza rolls, mixed veggies and pears. It must have been extra yummy because it was super quiet at lunch! The wind came up and blew a cup of milk over, which got everyone’s attention and then they started chatting away about football, grandparents, going to the beach and bad storms. So many things to talk about!! Enjoy the weekend ahead and BEAT STATE! 🖤🏈💛
TODAY: Prompt Pick Up It was a EVERYONE AT PRESCHOOL PRESCHOOL DAY! The kids LOVE it when they all get to go to school! Thank you all for arriving early enough for all of us to potty and wash hands and we’ve been using the little bit of time we have before we leave, to write our names for our projects. Today, we focused on the Number ONE (1). After preschool pick up, we came home to eat Cheddar Brat Bites, Tator Tots and Applesauce. We talked about Grandparent’s Day (this coming Sunday) and we are working on a new song to sing for our grandparents. The song was in your Parent Packet if you want to keep practicing with your kiddo. We also talked about the season FALL. We are going to start watching to see when the leaves start to change colors. Enjoy this beautiful day!☀️
PROMPT PICK UP ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON~might be the last XC meet of the season (the teammates are falling off like flies with Covid😢) A huge thank you again for the schedule change yesterday-but hallelujah, the 190 goats are gone!🙌🏻 It has been an EXTREMELY busy 4 weeks, we SO appreciate your understanding. We are still running our small herd, but that should be wrapping up by the end of the month. We did get some work done yesterday. We all worked on our Aa pages and we made astronauts. We continued on with the letter Aa and made an Ambulance Puzzle today. While the boys were at school, the girls enjoyed KITCHEN FUN, PROJECT TIME and OUTDOOR PLAY. We wanted to get outside more, but little Crew was having a rough morning and the girls were so understanding and loved helping me to calm him-they are such great little mother hens!❤️ After preschool pick up, we came home to eat Cheesy Tuna Casserole, peas and peaches. The day is beautiful, so I’m sure we’ll be back outside after snack time!
No daycare on Monday~we’ll start our week of preschool travels on Tuesday. Enjoy the long weekend! What a rainy start to our day! To say we were soaked after preschool drop off was an understatement. Then we came home to a leaky roof, which led to our contractor coming out and finding more insurance claims from the derecho…so yes, we had guys in the house working, we have a hole in the dining room ceiling and we have a tarp on the roof and the guys were walking all over the roof in the rain-it’s been an eventful Friday!🤦🏻♀️ Amongst the chaos, we were still able to work on our project. We focused on the color blue and made another page for our scrapbooks. We also made cute little bluebirds. Thankfully , the rain slowed down at pick up time, so we didn’t get too wet then. We came home and made Chicken Alfredo, peas and pineapple. For story time, we read IF YOU TAKE A MOUSE TO SCHOOL (which Benny and Maddox were THRILLED about, because Ms. Connie read it today, too! Enjoy the long weekend ahead!
