Bi-Monthly Fees Due Today! We made it to Friday! Woo hoo! What a beautiful, sunny day, too! Preschool day and Heath was home, so schedule wasn’t in our vocabulary today! We dropped the boys off at preschool and stopped at a Friend’s farm to drop off $$ for our pig we bought from him. We buzzed right back home and enjoyed playing dress up and dollhouse! Of course, Tiggy wanted to play, too! He kept jumping inside the dollhouse just as we had it set up-crazy cat! Before we knew it was time to pick up the boys. I think preschool wore them out, they were both dozing off in the car on the way home. We made a quick lunch of cheese, pepperoni, crackers, fruit cocktail and yogurt-it was a hit with the kids! After quiet book time, I read SWEEP! We plan to have cookies for an afternoon birthday celebration and then work on our Traveling The World project (Australia). Have a great weekend ahead and GO HAWKS!

THIS AFTERNOON-No Driver’s Ed drop off, it was cancelled. Preschool days fly by here! It was picture day for the boys and they were looking quite handsome! We dropped them off and then preschool gave us their pumpkins, so the girls and I came home to feed the goats and cows-yum!🎃 We then took off and picked up our online grocery order and came home to play outside for a bit. Before we knew it, it was time to pick up the boys again. We came home and ate PB&J, cottage cheese and fresh fruit with our milk. After quiet book time, we read CHICKEN TALK. It was a silly book about chickens writing notes in the dirt. After naptime and snack, we’ll work on our project. We are going to focus on the Number 7 today! Have a great afternoon!
TODAY: we’ll be taking Tori to Driver’s Ed at 4 pm at Caseys Happy Wednesday! It was great to see the sun again! We started with FREE PLAY of manipulatives, look and find books, tiny animals and the tiny people (they all love little)! The manipulatives were a hit and they worked so hard on different types of buckles and snaps. For Calendar Time, we shared our Show and Tell (2 cars, 2 phones and a baby book), and talked about Veteran’s Day and what a veteran is. For our project, we made a book about Veteran’s Day. Next-outside play time until lunch time. We wore our boots, simply because of yesterday’s rain. Boots didn’t slow them down at all-full speed ahead outside today! When we came in for lunch, Grandma and Papa stopped by to deliver some things and say HI! The kids were way too interested in eating, though. We ate chicken breasts, sweet potato fries and fresh fruit medley-yum! They cleaned their plates! The kids are all snuggled in for naps and refueling for the rest of the day.
TONIGHT-Prompt Pick Up, we need to leave at 5 pm Rain, rain, go away! We were prepared for a wet day though-we just extended our schedule out for each activity and had longer free play, added a dance party to get the wiggles out, worked on TWO projects and then had a second indoor play time, instead of outside play. We survived a wet day and had fun singing silly songs almost all morning long. We counted to 10 in Spanish at Calendar Time, too. We talked about last week having 5 sunnies and so far this week, we have had 1 party sunny and 1 rainy, what will tomorrow be? For our projects, we worked on our Gg page, made a goose puppet and worked on G sight words (go, get, girl). We also made a gumball machine! For lunch today, it was pizza, corn and applesauce. Tori says she is going to make cookies over naptime, so maybe cookies for snack this afternoon with a glass of milk?!?! Before naptime, I read HORRIBLE BEAR! and then we sang our ABCs and I’M BRINGING HOME A BABY BUMBLEBEE. See everyone early for a prompt pick up today!
THIS AFTERNOON~Driver’s Ed time change for Tori, she has to be at Caseys at 4:30 now, so we will be gone for just a little bit to run her into Ely and drop her off Another gorgeous day, so we adjusted our day a little to give us more outdoor play time! After Calendar Time, we skipped project time (we’ll work on double projects tomorrow with the 100% chance of rain we have coming our way) and went outside! After a little bit, we took off and ran into CR so I could buy stamps and drop off some forms (Tori rode with us) and sat with the kiddos when I ran into the bank so no one had to go inside anywhere, but me.😷 After that quick errand, we were home to play outside some more. Raking leaves is so much fun, but jumping in them is better! They had a ball outside and couldn’t believe that Harrison dig up the side yard (we are running electric to the dog/duck/chicken houses, so he dug a trench). We loved the morning outside, then picked lots of leaves out of our hair and shirts before heading in to eat waffles, bacon and bananas for lunch. Yum! After quiet book time, we read BLOCKS and talked about sharing and playing together. Enjoy the sunshine and warm weather if you can!
