Here is the rundown of illnesses (ear infections-which I know are not contagious, but the cold bug that starts them usually is, pink eye, upper respiratory infection and croup)! Amazing to have so much going on with only 5 little ones here!!! I hope everyone gets to feeling better soon! Now would be a GREAT time to review my sick policy! Bottom line, if your little one is sick and needs those extra snuggles to get through the day, being at home with mommy or daddy is best! Even if your child is not contagious, but they are not feeling well and need extra TLC, home is the place to be. Help us prevent spreading more germs until your little ones are feeling better and can make it through the day. 24 hours fever free without pain meds, 24 hours on antibiotics (unless only treating for an ear infection...and then they still need to be feeling okay to return). A constant and severe cough or a constantly discolored discharge of the eyes or nose are also reasons to stay home for those extra snuggles. The obvious diarrhea or vomiting rule is 24 hours after the LAST occurrence before returning. And as I have always said, if you are in doubt about your child returning to daycare, I prefer you err on the side of another day at home for the concern of your own child and the other children in daycare.
Now, onto today! We worked on our Faith Lesson and made an adorable God Helps Me Grow Collage! The kids colored stems and then glued grass, petals and clouds onto their pictures! SO CUTE! It was a GORGEOUS morning outside, so after our project, we headed outside!!! We picked from the garden, went for a walk, played with the soccer balls and we took turns on the swing. Such a nice day outside!!! Have a great afternoon and get well wishes to all of
